DECEMBER 2004 REUNION CRUISE.... (Planning Committee Please)

A reunion Cruise? I'm game if you do. The surgery has been a life changing event.. I'm all for celebrating our success in a HUGE way! If you need help... just let me know. T"ll have my three month check-up tomorrow, wish me luck. According to the scales at Curves, I should be down about 52 pounds. Hi Miss Vera, You know I would love to meet you and all of my other December buddies, but I go to college and my semester usually ends the week before Christmas. Please, please, please, change it to January so I can go. I am off for the month of January from school (although I do have kids and a hubby, but I think they would support me on this) and the summer months from mid-May through August. I hope that we can all agree on a good time to go because we would have so much fun. I know that everyone is going to have some issues about the cost, so if we do it on a weekend cruise, it is soooooo much more affordable and maybe it would be more incentive to go. Vera, I think this sounds like a great idea. Keep us updated on what if anything you all decide. Even Ron's suggestion about Vegas would be great. Loni

Ok... nothing is in stone yet guys, which is why I posted this so early. I'll keep posting, and hopefully, we can do January, if that is better. Like many of you, I am in school (working on my PhD in Education), work full time, sometimes more, have a teenaged son, a loving boyfriend, and so much else inbetween, but sometimes, WE GOTTA TAKE A MOMENT TO THANK GOD AND CELEBRATE OUR WLS BIRTHDATE! I wish I could participate, but with Christmas and a new grandbaby on the way, the expenses will be too much. I am also planning to join my boyfriends family next year for his parents 50th wedding anniversary, which will involve a longer than normal holiday. I would love to participate. Hi Vera, I also think January, maybe even the end of January would be a better time to get us all together. Las Vegas or a short cruise - I'd be game for either. Maybe my husband would join us also.
