First of all, we all are so blessed, those of us who have traveled on this lifechaning journey. I thank God for His blessings, and for allowing me to celebrate my 40th B-Day (3/11), yesterday, in GOOD HEALTH. As of today, I am 11 weeks out, and -51# and counting down. I have so much energy, and on NO MEDICAITON at all. I was a diabetic, high blood pressure, neuropathy, and high cholesterol. I go for my 12 week checkup next week, and can't wait for my Labs to come back ' clean', as they say! Hitch free! LOL So, for those of you contemplating this life changing surgery, or for those fellow WLS OH buddies of mines, be inspired, because, it is so inspiring to be here.... still counting down. Also, if you have been ill, weak, or uninspired/encouraged, just get on your knees, thank and praise God, and know that IT WILL GET BETTER... AND SO WILL YOU, AS A RESULT. God didn't bring you/us this far to leave you... so know that IT WILL GET BETTER!!!!! Thanks for reading, and feel free to check out my Profile, because it is DYNOMITE! Always, Vera, December Crew Encourager RNY Proximal (LAP) 12/20/04 343/292/? 30-32/20-22/? -51# @ 11 weeks and counting down!

Vera, Congrats! We have the same date! I am so happy to hear you are off of the medications! I will also be going for my labs in about a week and can't wait to see the difference. Did you ever think that this surgery would help us out so much? I don't know about you, but I feel like I never had surgery (except for pouchy's restrictions! ) Keep up the good work!
