Not sure how I'm doing, how are you doing?
I think you're doing great!
I'm 2 1/2 months out and I've lost 50lbs. Sometimes I feel like I'm not losing fast enough until I stop and really think about how fast that weight really came off. It also helps to look at my pre-op pictures and especially the one pair of pre-op pants that I have kept.
I get between 80-100g of protein a day and work really hard to get in 100oz of water. I walk 5-6 days a week and have recently upped my daily walk to 2 miles in the morning, another 1/2 mile mid morning and another 1/2 mile in the afternoon.
I've also added riding my bike on some days. I don't ride it much, just up and down the street with my 6 1/2 year old.
So far I'm still very pleased with my progress and you should be too!

Hi
I think that is good. My surgery was 12-28 and I'm down 38 lbs as of friday when I seen my Primary care dr. I'm thrilled!! My clothes are too big and it is great!! We have to remember that we did not put on all this weight overnight. I think if we lose slower we are more likely to keep it off too. And the more weight you have to lose the faster the weight comes off in the begining. Ok that is my 2 cents!! HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT DAY!!
Blessings

Hi Loni - My December 16th buddy!
I think I am doing ok... I guess I really felt the weight would come off faster, but it is coming off and I feel great. So far I have lost 46 pounds, so you and I are really close.
I hit the gym at least 3 times a week and love it.. I also have 4 children ranging in age from 3-17, so I am always busy doing something. lol

Hi December 16 th buddies................we have about the same weight lost. It seem to me I was losing slow, I started to eat more each day, and I am losing faster. I think you need to get in enough calories or your weight lost slows. I have been making it to Curves once a week. I need to increase the days to three. Seems like something always comes up. Can't wait for Spring weather, to start walking. I think we are all doing great. I feel great, and it's such a wonderful feeling to see the scale go down, instead of up. Good luck, and keep up the good work.
Blessings,
Norma
Hi Dec Buddies---
I guess I'm the heavy weight of the group. I've lost 51 lbs..... 56, if you count the diet I was on 2 wks before surgery. I feel that my progress is slow but steady. I'm so happy to have some weight gone. My older clothes are fitting again and I'm getting rid of my largest sizes. Wow, this is a miracle.

Your doing great!
My vbg was Dec 1st-
I am down from 351 pounds to 275 at the moment.
so about 75 pounds down...
So far I notice my rings don't fit, my tops are way too bulky now and my black all-purpose snug-fit leggings are getting saggy-baggy on my arse end!
What works really well for me is keeping baggies of pre-cut-up snacks in the fridge. ****ep one bag of veggie sticks, fruit slices and citrus pieces.
I also make sure alot of my foods are pre-made to 3.5 ounces so I rarely over-eat.... (motts applesauce is 3.5 ounces, as are most kiddie-sized yogurts, as are Chef Boyardee mini-melas like lasagna and beefaroni)
And I drink a boat load of ice water daily... I find munching ice cubes a good filler for my 'head' hunger.
I am 2 months and 2 weeks I think, I have lost 60lbs total. I'm not sure the doctors scale and the WLS Center had 10lb difference. I am struggling with finding a protien shake I like but am going to keep trying and I am working on water sometimes I get sick from water but can handle diluted gatorade weird...I think I am doing okay I am working on working out the first time I did the aerobics video I only made it 10 mins LOL. Oh well even just walking is getting easier and easier...and I am so picky now I never used to be picky. My dad is coming to visit on Saturday and we might go out to eat we will see how that goes!
