3/7/05 3 mth post-op and down 64 llbs:jump:

Hi!! everyone sorry haven't posted in a while but been looking for a job i feel great and so Blessed HBP and Diabetes doing great ! I've actually been looking for a job I'm an xray tech and can't wait to get back to work I have sooo much energy now. If anyone hears of a job give me a ring,I work in sc but ready and willing to relocate anywhere GOD BLESS YOU ALL and all of you are in my Prayers and THoughts. Lynn Roberts RTR

Way to go, Lynn! Isn't great getting back to things you couldn't do before and actually feeling good. I will be 3 months on 3/6/05. It seems like the weight just keeps melting off. Have you been able to drop any medications for your HBP and Diabetes? Just last week I was able to drop one of two Diabetes meds and I've reduced my HBP med. I can't wait for the day that I am on no meds at all. Good luck on your job search! Kristin

Thank you! to answer your questions. Yes I've dropped all but 1 med from diabetes (was on 3),and 1 bp (was taking 3) feels great !!! I do take my vitamins,1effexor an still taking a water pill. I had to go to the pharmacy the other day and my pharmacist said i haven't seen you ! how was the surgery? I said great i was there to pick up some medicine for my husband(cough)not even for myself.she was use to seeing me at least every week for something ,now once a month maybe twice.again Thanks for the post GOD BLESS YOU!! AND GOOD LUCK TO YOU WE ARE ON THE LOOSING SIDE BUT WE WILL WIN THE BATTLE!!!

Congrats Lynn!!!! Fantastic job your doing... I was 3 months out on the 1st... and now down 62lbs myself. I am off all fo my diabetes, HBP, and reflux meds.... It is so wonderful not having to take so many pills every night now. Just still taking my thyroid meds and hormones (I will always be taking those) As far as the job goes, go online and look to see if the hospitals here in Macon have any opening for x-ray techs. They are The Medical Center of Central Georgia, and Coliseum Health System. I'd google them and then look on their job lines. Good Luck in your search for a new job!!!
