Hey Dec. Folks, have you hit a plateau???

I am now 13 weeks out. At the start of my 10th week post-op, I hit my first plateau that lasted for 3 weeks. I wasn't freaked out by it or anything, because I knew I would have them, just not at 10 weeks. I still continued to lose inches, so that made it a little more tolerable, but I was wondering how many other December folks have also hit a plateau that lasted a couple of weeks. I have lost 60 lbs already and have come down from a size 26 to a 16 already, so I am not really complaining. Just curious....... Susan Lap RNY 12-1-04 285-225-155 (-60)

I have also hit a plateau that has been about three weeks. I also lost 60 lbs but have still lost inches while on the plateau. I am hoping to get out of this soon! I still have 75 lbs to goal.

I haven't hit one yet, and I hope that it doesn't happen any time soon... though I'm sure I wont stay lucky!! Congrats on the 60 pounds down!

I seem to be losing a pound or two a week but a couple of weeks ago I sat on the same numbers for two weeks. I don't beat myself up over it. The weight will come off in due time Donna

I've had 3 periods of not losing pounds, although during two of them I was losing some inches. The shortest was 1-1/2 weeks, the longest 3-1/2 weeks. I'm 12 weeks post-op and have spent 7 of them not moving on the scale. I'm considerating changing my name to "Plateau Queen". Sue O.

For the last month I haven't lost more than 1 or 2 pounds in one week. Not really a platueau, but certainly extremely slow! Your doing great - keep it up. Candy 266/216/130

I'm not sure if I'm on a plateau or the fact that I'm a slow loser

I hit a plateau around 4 or 5 weeks and it lasted about 1.5-2 weeks. It was frustrating but it broke. I changed my routine at the gym and added a little more protein... not sure if that is what helped it break but I am glad it did! Beckie 255-215-160?

Hi Susan, I have hit 3 different plateau's. I am so discusted with myself. I have only lost 47 pounds since 12-21-04. I read the previous post and I think too I need more protein and more exercise. Thank you for this question. Mary S.
