Half way to goal!! (Don't look it though :-( )
I just hit minus 50 pounds!! (I've never lost more than 30 pounds in my life, on a variety of diets.) I hope to go to a real restaurant to celebrate tonight (with an appetizer, that is).
But it's still frustrating ... my face looks totally different, and I am wearing XXL and XL and some 18's instead of tight 22/24's ... but I certainly don't feel halfway there at this point! My stomach is still huge, my triple chin is now a double with loose skin, and why even mention the upper arms?!
Now I'm beginning to see why so many of the posts on the main message board and my yahoo group deal with plastic surgery! I think I'll start saving for next year, although one thing they all agree on is that a TT is very painful. I'm a chicken when it comes to pain!

Hi Leslie,
Half way to goal is wonderful. I too understand about the hanging skin. I can't see no way out of the plastic surgery. My face is shrinking fine but my lower abdomen has done lapped over my knees. Well maybe not my knees but I can tell you it is hanging. And don't get me started about my arms now known as bat wings and my thighs that look like a melted candle.
I am 46 as of March 1st.
I've lost 49 since my surgery on 12-21-04, and 61 pounds before surgery on my own. I still want to lose another 90 pounds yet. I started at 335, weigh 226 today and want to get to 136 before I quit.
I too am afraid of pain, but what I fear most is looking this way for the rest of my life.
Have a great weekend.
