December Crew... Tell What's New?
WOW. Lots of active December members. I am 2 1/2 months out and down 52 pounds. I have my return check-up with the surgeon next Tuesday. (March 1st) I have not had any food issues. Have been able to follow the diet plan, without any problems. I get the final diet stage next week, which will return red meats, carbonated diet beverages and alcohol (in moderation - of course)
I know my loss is on par with what is expected, but lately I find myself being skeptical about any long-term success. I just find it so hard to believe that I might become normal again. My mind can't grasp that situation just yet. I worry that the weight loss will stop at any moment and I will remain forever obese. Does anyone else have these self-doubts???

I've lost 44.5lbs so far. I've had alot of nausea and vomiting from 4-8 weeks and its starting to settle down. I got new meds from the doc for the nausea. I can now tie my shoes in the middle, I have only used my inhailer once since surgery, and can climb a flight of stairs without losing my breath. Thats just a few.
Hi all, keep up the good work!!! I am doing pretty good, down 56 lbs and have been a walking fool. We walk 5 dogs in the neighborhood when it is nicer outside, otherwise it is the treadmill on the nights I don't have water aerobics. I have also had a problem with pizza.....pizza and Diet Coke are my 2 cravings. I wont be trying pizza again any time soon. Diet Coke I am trying to kick but....
I am doing my 60-70 grams of protein a day with 64+ oz. of water/fluids. I can still only do about 4 oz of food at a time and I am full. I do have to remind myself to eat especially if I am in the middle of something.....I just dont get hungry often (not a complaint by any means). I feel I am losing slow but a friend of mind told me losing slow helps with your skin, so that is good. Also, those who have more to lose will lose faster. SO, keep your chins up (us slow losers).
