Ok, I see everyone has been busy with their 8 week check ups, weigh in's, new clothes sizes, new tastes, and so forth... (so do tell your new weight, how much you lost so far, your protein/food routine, new foods, dates, new body discoveries.... etc... ANYTHING GOES) I do apologize that I have been away, but as you probably have been busy, so have I. I am asking that you Post up some of those things' that are 'new' to you, as you are shrinking! For me, I have never been able to have a 'quickie' without having an ****** and now... every 3 seconds! .... Hey, Hey....COME ON NOW, WE ARE ADULTS UP IN HERE... so get with it! I can kiss my toes, and my feet can touch the middle of my back... (now, now... how did I figure that out) .... GUESS! Ok, I'll tone it down a bit for the 'slower' Crew members.... I had a cup of lemon ice tea, and almost lost my mind... has it been a hard 8 weeks, or what? Well, what about you? Anything goes, so do tell! I'll be seeing you guys around here, and I do hope you have missed me. Be sure to check out my new Page, and update yours, as well! 8 weeks out and counting guys! I am down 59 lbs and I am no longer morbily obese - now I am just severly. Never thought I would be happy with that title BUT I AM ON MY WAY!!!! Food - I am doing ok... I have tested the limits a few times and paid the price. Turkey does not agree with me AT ALL. I can handle chicken and fish but turkey NO WAY! I did have a few bites of pizza for the first time this weekend and it was ******ic. I did pay the price and I am not going to try that anytime soon again. Had a really bad cold for about 2 weeks and was unabe to exercise but now I am back on track. I feel a little off balance and the doc says that is normal - folks at my job who do not know stop me and ask me "what am I doing - what is my secret" I just tell them that I do not eat sugar and floured carb stuff. Eat High protein and low fat. DECEMBER FOLKS ROCK!!!!

VERA!!!, Ya Killin me!! You are just the greatest, I needed a smile before I went to bed tonight. Everything is going great here. Not loosing as fast as I would like to, but I'm looooozen 50 wonderful pounds, gone forever. I have a real hard time with the protein shakes, toooooo sweet. I try to get my protein in with food, but it is hard, when I can only take a few bites and I'm full. Another bummer is "I DON'T DUMP", dangit, on anything, I was counting on that, lol. If anyone gets their protein from foods only, Please give me some ideas. OK got to go to bed, keep up all the good work everyone, Love Ya, Melody

Hey Peeps, I am so in love with this board. Unfortunately, I have been an observer and not a participator. Will try and change that. Well I have lost a total of 77 pounds. (well 26 of those pounds had been just prior to surgery, and I have lost 51 pounds since surgery) I am so happy and excited about this . Hope everyone is doing well 359/333/282/160?

Vera, you are hilarious!!!! And a very lucky girl to know these things as well.... Maybe some day soon I can find me a man.... even if it is just for a night or two... Anyway.... I have lost 55 lbs and have been stuck here for 2 weeks. I didn't expect my first plateau to come so soon. I am down from wearing 26's to wearing 18's. So I am not complaining, as I expected this to happen at some point in time. The biggest thing that is new to me is that I don't sweat anymore. That and I am cold all of the time. When I was at this weight before, I was still always hot, and always sweating. It's a good thing though. Take Care all, and keep on losing!!! Susan Lap RNY 12-1-04 285-230-155 (-55)

Hey Vera, Doing great! Still feel wonderful - a little tired but that's okay. Keeping up my calories to 900, keeping my protein to at least 100, and getting in about 90 oz of liquid. Hubby and I are lovin the the changes! Your doing great - keep up the good work. Candy 266/219/125 -47

Hello fellow December mates. I went shopping last Friday (since I don't weigh myself at home, I wait until I go to the Doc's office) and was able to fit into a size 16 (started out in a tight 22, refused to buy any 24's). I was so excited that I almost pissed on myself (I know, I know). I went running around Lane Bryant like a nut ......I can't help it I was so happy. I have noticed that I love salads. I will eat a salad w/a cup of grilled chicken. I stay away from breads, pasta, sugar and rice. I crave veggies, diet snapple ice-tea and those darn dole fruit cups. I have to up my exercise a little more, but I am doing fine. Can't wait to weigh in at the doc's office next month. Good luck to the December crew...........we rock. Vera, Vera,Vera, You crack me up, thank you for that. Well lets see what's going on. The pain is gone pretty much and I'm really happy about that. I do have some dizzyness and I'm not sure what that is about, but I manage. I am down 41 pounds and I wi**** could be more but I'm happy about this. Foods are kind of touchy for me. I do not tolerate any kind of fatty foods at alll, makes me very sick to my stomach, I can't even eat cheese and that bums me out. Foods I don't tolerate are: cheese, eggs, protein shakes. I've been taking a liquid protein supplement and it is working really good for me. I'm trying to exercise everyday but I don't seem to make that work but I do get in at least 4-5 days a week. It has been a tough 8 weeks or so but it is getting better everyday and that's a blessing. Everyone keep up the good work and many blessings to you all. Loni

Hey you guys- Vera, please tell us more!!! Things are going great for me. I was down 51 pounds at my 8 week check-up; down from a 28-30 to a 24, and some 22s. What's new is that my twins are leaving me more rapidly than I would have liked! What's good is that I feel like getting my groove on again. I have not had any food issues. I can eat and tolerate anything. I love Pepsi Edge. I am struggling with getting all my water in, but I work on it daily. Life is good!!!!
