A Newer Me... Can I get some Luv!

HEY MY DECEMBER CREW.... I know I've been away, so, ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF... MY NAME IS VERA, AND I AM NOW 298 POUNDS! BAMN! I was already dangerous, now, I'm gonna be a 'stick' of dynomite! Can you imagine that? I have lost 45 pounds in 8 weeks! I celebrated my 8 weeks on 2/20, (and Hppy Anniversary EVERYONE) ... and I am feeling so good. I went to my surgeon's Awards dinner on 2/18, and I met so many post- ops, who had surgery by my surgeon. I met 1, 2 and 3 year out friends, and changed numbers. I was the youngest out 'out', being only 8 weeks, and they were so amazed at my loosing 45# in 8 weeks. I was 299 then, and am 298 now... and counting down. I feel so good because I have been over 300 lbs. since my son was born, 16 years ago, and I have not seen 200 anything ever since. So, to me, setting a personal goal, to say good by 300's and hello 200's was a large step. I am crying now, because it was just so amazing to fit into a size 22 Evening Gown (My Pic on My front page... go visit, it is all new and beautiful in there), and knew I was the most beautiful woman in the room, (because my mom went with me and told me so)! LOL So, lMy December Crew, whether you have had surgery, or are thinking of it... I would do it again, even if I didn't loose a pound, because... well, I don't have to take insulin shots, or blood pressure, or cholesterol pills anymore, and I AM IN CONTROL OF MY FOOD... AND MY FOOD IS NOT IN CONTROL OF ME! That being said... I encourage you all, and thanks again for being a part of this Family! Ok, now... can I get some Luv up in here? Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you, you are truly working this tool. It is amazing how our whole outlook on food changes. This surgery is a blessing to us all. I had my surgery on 12/16 and weighed in at a whopping 283lbs. I am now 240lbs and dropping. I went from a size 22 to a size 16, Lord knows I am so happy and blessed. Anyway keep up the good work and just you wait we are going to be fierce this summer. Fran
