So excited!!

Hi everyone. I haven't been around much the last week. Eveyone has been sick here. I just wanted to say hi to all the new people and tell everyone how happy I am. I finally went shopping last night for a new pair of jeans because I was starting to look fatter than ever in my old baggy ones. I've only lost 47 pounds, so I didn't think I would fit into too much smaller ones. Well, my husband talked me into trying on a pair of regular 16's (after I argued with him for 10 minutes that my big butt would never fit in them). They fit! I was so excited. I think the other people in the dressing room thought I was having a heart attack or something. I actually bought a pair of size 16 Levi's and can wear them. Before WLS I was wearing a 22 with no room to spare. I've been a little depressed because I thought I was losing slowly, but I'm happy now. By the way, I had forgotten how cute the clothes are in the regular department. I might go bankrupt this summer. Well, just wanted to share. Hope everyone else is as happy with their WLS as me. HI Melissa, Don't say "only -47". I think you sound right on track. That's Fantastic you are in a 16 now. I started at a 22-24 and am lose in a 20 now. I have not tried any 18s yet. I hope I will be 16 by summer. Liz

WOW!!! Melissa Thank god for your husband!!!!! That is so great to have that kind of support. Tell him he is a good man. Im down 73lbs and I hope I go broke by next christmas by buying new clothes..lol..lol keep it up, you are doing sooooo gooood,, ......god bless you and your family...Ron in arizona
