How often do you weight???
Well here we are Dec WLS patients!! We have made it to the losing side!!
I was told by the Dr not to weigh except for at his office. Like I can do that one! I have decided to only weigh-in one a week. My home scales are very cheap and undependable. One of the schools I work with as an electronic scale I can go weigh on.
What are doing, how often are you weighing?? Are you sleeping well??
Have you starting exercising other than walking??
Thanks & Blessings

Tonya,
I weigh every morning after I go potty of course. There's no way I can wait for a whole week. My hubby said I should only weigh at the Dr's ofc. and be surprised. I am not strong enough!!! I started walking on the treadmill yesterday (1 mile). The darn thing stopped. I guess it isn't use to being used. Oh well...buying a new one in the next few days.
Have a Great Evening!

Hey gang
I only weigh at my Dr's office for consistency and my own sanity! I refuse to buy a scale for my house! Since my Dr. appointments are like every 6 weeks, I made a special trip to his office on my 2 month anniversary just to use the scale.
I personally think weighing every day is torture - but to each his/her own!
I am sleeping just fine. I can almost sleep back on my stomach, but only for very short spurts of time.
I just started doing Winsor Pilates, and will start using the elliptical machine once I pay my gym bill.
What have all of you lost since December. I weigh twice a week. My surgery was 12/7/04 and I have lost 37 lbs. I only seem to lose weight once a week and so I get agravated when I do not lose. Anyone else out there seeing the same thing. I think I should be at 40 lbs but I think I have reached a stopping point. I also wonder if I eat to much. Sometimes I can eat more than other times. Yesterday I had a half of an English muffin with 2 tblsps. of Peanut Butter, 3/4 cup Tuna Salad with 3 of the crakers I bought from this site, 1 protien bar and 1 stick of string cheese and 4 sliced of shaved ham. Of course I had 64 oz. of water and walked 3 miles. What do you think, is that to much. Thanks
Doesn't look like enough to me. I found I wasn't getting in enough calories and my body thought I was starving it so it would not let go of any weight. I increased water, protein, and calories up to 900 and started to lose again. I would however drop the english muffin. That is just empty carbs and has no nutritional value for us. It also swells in our pouch and causes hunger. Hang in there.
