Boobs shrinking?

I know it is a rather "personal" question, but with this weight loss, I thought that my boobs would be shrinking as well. I had RNY on 12-16-04 and so far have lost 38 pounds. I am still wearing the same bra size. Anybody else not loosing in the chest area?? Wonder what I can due to deflate the balloons~?!

I had surgery 12/15. Have lost 41 lbs and still wearing the same bra, although hubby thinks there has been some shrinkage. -Angie

Hi Brenda. I had surgery the same day as you did. I am melting away here, down 43 lbs and inches (I wish I had measured myself before surgery, just could not bring myself to do it). My bras are the same size, but I had to hike up the straps. I know that the bra cups are big cause they are puckering from not being full. I refuse to buy any new bras as they do cost a pretty penny in DD size. I will go to a good corset/bra shop and be measured professionally, to see what I really am, maybe in March. Until then I will suffer threw the shrinking boobs. I just hope they don't go below my waist toward my knees any more than necessary. Monica 330/287/???? 48 DD.....?????

I am down 54 lbs since my surgery on Dec 1st. While I am still wearing the same bra, I had to hike the straps up some too. When ever I have lost weight in the past, the boobage was always the LAST place to go. The smaller I got, the bigger they looked. I would love for them to get a little smaller. I've been carrying these babies around for a long time.... Susan Lap RNY 12-1-04 285-231-155 (-54)

My surgery was 12-28-04. I'm down 31.5 lbs WOOO HOOO for me!! I too have had to hike up the straps and move to the next set of hooks. I asked my hubby what he thought and he agreed that the girls were getting a little smaller. I'm thrilled but fear in the future I will have to move them out of the way to button & zip my pants!! Thanks for asking this question, it is good to know what others are going through, and of course laughter is always good!! Blessings Tonya

Lucky you! My prized twins are definitely shrinking and I am not happy! I too have tighten my straps, but do not yet feel that I need to buy any new bras. The problem is that they are getting droopy! That's not good! I see a lift in the future...

Hi Brenda - Mine aren't shrinking - my bra size hasn't changed. I wish my butt would shrink though. I don't want the girls to shrink. However, they were so perky before surgery and now they look like they've been hit by a steam roller. It's worth it though because I feel great! Candy 266/222/130

unfortunately my boobs are shrinking, too. I wear sport bras- before surgery I wore one that was a 3x and have only now (last monday) changed it to a 1x... yay? (not too sure how happy I am about this change.)
