My Mini Goal... do you have one?
Yes, I have two mini goals... one was met today.. I'm finally under 300lbs! I could hardly believe the nurse when she said I was under 300lbs. Wow! I've lost 38 pounds.(since surgery - 43 from my highest weight before surgery). I had my surgery on 12/23. The weight loss is going slow but it's going in the right direction and I'm thrilled.
My second goal has to do with my trip to Europe in two months. Last year the long flight to Europe was so uncomfortable ( tight seats and generous hips - not a good mix) I want to sit comfortably in the airplane seat this time. Anyone who flys alot knows how uncomfortable those seats can be to people of size.
My doctor told me that I can add weights to my workout as long as I was careful, so here goes.
It's good to have such a great support group!

Hi Rebecca,
I know that you will wear that Red Dress and look great in it! I hope the bride doesn't get overshined by you! Ha Ha!
Thanks to this surgery I have met a few of my mini goals. I wanted to be more active and play with my kids more--done! I wanted to be out of the 200's and no longer morbidly obese--done! I wanted to fit into regular sized clothes and not buy plus clothes anymore--just did last week, but didn't buy yet!
So, my new goals are to aim for jogging a full mile. I can slowly jog about 1/2 a mile or so and walk the other 2 1/2 briskly, but it will be great to do it! AND to not be severely obese--2 lbs. to goal!
Thanks for having us do this. It felt great!
