Hi. I just wanted to let everyone know the good news. i dyed my hair last week, frosted it over the weekend, and dyed it again today. and i'm glad to say that i have the same amount of hair that i had when i started dying last week. i've read that hair usually starts falling out 3 months or more after the surgery. is this true for anyone or everyone? sue

From what I understand, if you are faithful about taking your vitamins and getting your protein in - hair loss should not be a problem. Let's hope this is the case! I get mine highlighted in a week or so! M

I HAD MY HAIR HIGHLIGHTED AT 5 WEEKS SO WHEN I WENT BACK TO WORK IT WOULD LOOK NICE... IT TOOK THE HIGHLIGHT JUST FINE... SOMETIMES THEY SAY AFTER SURGERY PERMS AND LIGHTING DOESN'T TAKE TO GOOD BUT MINE DID... I AM A LITTLE NERVOUS ABOUT LOSSING HAIR IF IT HAPPENS TO ME.. BUT I AM TRYING TO KEEP MY PROTEINS UP THERE SO IT WON'T.. BONBON

I am 7 weeks post-op and luckily I have not had a hair loss yet, but I am taking biotin 5000mg daily along with the protein to help my hair and hopefully prevent any hairloss. You can get if from GNC or the vitamin shoppe. Fran
