epigastric pain-7wks out

This AM I started to have pain just below my sternum, dead center in the abdomen. The area of pain is about the size of a fist. It is worse when I take a deep breath in. It does not feel like the type of sensation I feel when the pouch is full. It is not associated with food or fluid intake. I am on Pepcid AC 2 tabs twice a day. I took 2 extra this AM to see if that helped, and it did not. There is no cardiac or past ulcer issues. Has anyone else experienced this who could offer some insight? I don't want to make a trip to the MD if it is nothing. -Angie 302/268/150

Best and only advice I can give is call the doctors. This is what you pay them for. If this a new type of pain for you especially call. Monica

I don't know what it is, but defiantly call your Dr. Three things I can think of: Hernia Gallbladder Gas I know my Dr checked me at 1 month out for all of those. Liz
