michelle mckinstry has died

hi all i'm writing to tell you a member in your month of surgeries has passed away. she died early this morning from aspiration pneumonia. she had a kink in her small bowel that was causing her to vomit alot of the time. well she aspirated the contents into her lungs and got pneumonia, a infection as well inher gall bladder and then her lung(s) collapsed. i will be going to the funeral on saturday, if anyone wishes to send a email of sympathy please email me and i will print it off and give it to her family. thanks all. god bless. jennifer - her angel

Is hard to express how sad it is to her of Michelle's passing. Although I did not know her, I know her journey. I will think of her often this weekend and pray her family can find comfort. Liz

While I did not know Michelle, we are all sisters in this weight loss adventure. The first thing that goes through your mind is "there but by the Grace of God, go I" What happened to Michelle was a tragedy of fate. May God bless her family and friends with the courage and strength to recover from this loss. I know Michelle's decision to undertake this surgery was a difficult one. We all have to weigh the risks against the benefits before deciding if the surgery is the right choice for us. May her friends and family find comfort in the fact that Michelle knew the risks associated with her decision and she chose to take those risks in the hopes of improving her quality of life for the long term.
