Does anyone have any suggestions for a milk substitute or a good protein drink? I can't stand the taste of milk and need something to get more protein and calcium in... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Liz

I mix my protein powder, Jay Robb's Whey protein with both milk or water. I really enjoy this drink and I get 24 grm protein per scoop. Good luck finding what you like. Monica

I add two tablespoons of dry skim milk powder to my morning oatmeal. It provides much-needed added protein and calcium. Karen G RNY 12-15-04 294/249/???

Hi Elizabeth, Have you tried the Isopure premixed/prebottled from GNC? Here is a website to show you what they look like http://www.a1nutritionproducts.com/buy/natures_best/zero_carb_isopure_drink But you can get them from GNC. They are $3.50 a bottle. Each bottle gives you 40g of protein, which is awesome. I buy them at the beginning of the month at GNC b/c they are on sale for 10-20% off within the first 7 days of the month. They taste good to me and they have several flavors like apple Melon, Orange-Pineapple, Fruit Punch etc. If you don't like the taste mix it with something. I am able to tolerate GatorAid so sometimes I mix them with whatever gatorade is close to the color of the protein drink. They are not made from any MILK products at all !!! Make sure you get the one that is Zero carbs, Zero Sugar etc. Good Luck, Karen L. Lap RNY 12/20/04 314/258
