Quiche anyone?
Yes, I agree I have that craving also Kesha. Yesterday when we went out for breakfast to my favorite place, I was hoping for quiche. However they did not offer one. I have had a 2 cheese omelet and did fine with that a few weeks ago. I could only eat a third, but that was OK. I had broccoli for the first time on Friday 1/21. The first bite was solid and when it hit the pouch I said OH, but the pouch accepted it and the other small pieces I delivered to it. I am not sure about the pie part of the quiche due to the fat content. But I would eat the filling with relish.

hey kesha....
last night my girlfriend and our husbands went to a local Hams Restaurant and she ordered the broccoli and cheese quiche (shes 7 months post op) and it was fine for her...i had a taste of it, a forkfull and it didnt bother me at all, i had never eaten one before. i dont see why it would bother us...its eggs and cheese and broccoli (finely chopped) not sure what else was in it but it was good. only way to know how it will affect you is trial and error...make good decisions and learn from our mistakes.

Today someone brought in a spinach quiche for brunch for a meeting, and I had two small slices, crust and all! It was wonderful, and I had no bad reaction to it. I ate tiny bites, very slowly, and even added some cheese to one of the slices. Now I'm thinking that I might make something myself sometime. When I buy the egg poacher from Walmart I can make a fake quiche with no crust, very easily, I think.
It was actually nice to have some veggie! Who would have thought that I would miss veggies?!
