7 weeks post op.......

Well I am 7 weeks post op and this morning I got on the scale and I about went through the roof.I broke the 50 lb mark.I have lost 51 lbs,my start weight was 270 and I now weigh 219 lbs.I cant believe it.This surgery was the most wonderful thing I could have ever done for myself. I tolerate food very good I have yet to even I have lots of energy and I just feel sooooo good.I have also been working out every morning at a gym called Divas Its kind of like curves. I'm 6 1/2 weeks post op and on Friday I was down 63 lbs. I have had no trouble whatsover, I can eat and I feel great ! My wife had the surgery 8 weeks ago and has had nothing but trouble, ulcer, gall bladder and lots of nausea. I'm looking forward to eating a steak or a pork chop at 6 mos. Ron Satterwhite

Aimee, Congratulations - that is an amazing loss. I had my surgery on 12/9 and I am down 36 pounds - which I am very happy about. Keep up your good work - you are really doing fantastic. Mary
