Ok, let me start....I knew I was loosing when I went to visit my mother today, and she started pulling out clothes from her closet that I complimented her on over the years. I couldn't believe that I could fit her 22/2x clothing, when I was a size 30/4x 5 weeks ago! She said "you loose inches first... then the pounds come off"! Wow... it wasn't my 'break down and cry' moment, that we all will have when we REALLY realize it, but I realized at that point, that I was actually loosing! What about you? I wore a pair of jeans yesterday that I had not gotten into for a long time. I went through my closet last weekend and removed clothes that I knew I could no longer wear. This is very exciting. I finally realized that yes the inches are going off faster than the pounds. Having a pair of pants on that are baggy in the leg and BUTT is a novelity to me, what fun. I just wish my knees did not hurt so much. I did a lot of walking for me yesterday (pedometer said 3,160 steps) and by the time I arrived home the whole legs were sore. i need to walk, but the pain is bad. If I don't walk it will be worse. Without the exercise the loss will be less. What a catch 22. Good luck to all of us December Diva's and gents Monica

I knew yesterday when my favorite purple shirt covered my entire tummy...even the low hanging part. So I threw on a pair of leggings and felt great! My pants are getting so baggy it was nice to wear the leggings and not feel like I was swimming in my clothes! Jen

I lost a lot of weight the first 2 weeks after surgery (20 pounds) then stalled. For three weeks my weight stayed the same (I weigh once a week) and my clothes fit the same. Then this week Thursday (my birthday, in fact) the scale started moving again and this morning I got into 2 pairs of pants that I haven't been able to wear for 2 years!!! Happy Birthday to me. I was beginning to be afraid that this surgery wouldn't work for me. Thanks for being such a cheerleader Vera. Love to all, Laurel

I could wear my wedding rings again!!!! I have not been able to wear my rings for about 18 months because my hands were so fat and swollen. I was thrilled when 3 weeks after surgery, I could wear them again and now they are getting too big!! Today, I bought a new shirt. I started out in a 22/24 and the shirt is an 18/20 and IT FIT!!!! Yeah me! Lisa S. 308/266/140

How wonderful to be able to wear your ring again! Lisa, (and the like), I see the last weight on your weight train says 140. For a long time, I thought it meant a persons 'current', but discovered quickly, that it represents the 'goal' weight. I have not set a goal just yet, but if I did, I would like to loose about 100 or more, if I could. So... keep up the excellent work, December Team... We are lookin' great! Vera
