Wow... I received such an overwhelming response from the last set of recipies I posted, and as promised... if you guys like it and tried it, I would Post more. So, here you go. I want to thank RON, one of our loving 12/20/04 Team members who not only cooked and ENJOYED the Salmon Croketts, but he also E-MAILED me the delicious pics of them! He is wonderful! Thanks Ron, Darling!!! :smile: Now you can also go to my Page, and get the rest. Enjoy my new Page while you are there! Thanks! Vera -35 12/20/04 LAP RNY Proximal 343/308/? CREAMY CALIFLOWER SOUP 1 Fresh Head of Califlower 1/2 cup of milk (any %) 1/2 tablesppon of 'I can't believe it is not butter' 1/2 teaspoon of salt/pepper mixed 1. Cut off 4 bunches/stalks of califlower floretts 2. Boil floretts in water 3. Add 'I can't believe it's not butter' into ho****er 4. Put top on hot pot, and reduce flame, to steam floretts 5. Let steam for 10-15 min 6. Remove floretts from water/butter mix 7. Let cool off for a few min 8. put 3 floretts bunches/stalks into blender 9. Add milk and salt/pepper mix into blended floretts 10. Pour into bowl 11. Crumble up remaining 1 florette, and add into soup This is a wonderfully flavored soup, creamy and chunky with califlower florettes. ***As a substitute for mashed potatoes, you can do the following: CALIFLOWER MASH Use the above ingrediance, but do not add milk. Also, do not put floretts in the blender, but use a 'potato masher', to mash the floretts, to a mashed potato consistancy. You can also add 'shreded cheese' for added protein and flavor! Enjoy! CREAM CHEESY CHICKEN 1 Can of Chicken Filet 2 table spoons of Cream Cheese 1 teaspoon of Mircle Whip 1 boiled egg 1 tomato slice (thick chopped) 1 green olive (large chopped) 1/2 teaspoon of olive juice 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice (optional) 1 packett of Splenda 1 table spoon of the following mixed: Mrs. Dash Lemon Pepper, Mrs. Dash Tomato Blend 1. Drain can of Chicken Filet (chunk chicken in a can) 2. put into chopper/blender (do not start yet) 3. Add 2 table spoons of Cream Cheese 4. Add 1 teaspoon of Mirclewhip 5. Blend 1-4 for 1 min 6. Add 1 boiled egg and Paulse a few times 7. Add chopped up tomato slice & 1 chopped olive 8. Add seasonings & 1 packet of Splenda 9. Paulse a few times 10. Add 1/2 teaspoon of olive juice/lemon juice 11. Blend all for 30 seconds Serve this cold, or room temp... whatever is good for your pouch. Eat with cheese sticks, crackers, or cracker sticks (my favorite). A very nutritional meal and it is so DELICIOUS. Can also be served at parties as a low cal/high protein appetizer.
