Hi all! Sugery Type: Lap RNY Date: 12/20/04 Weight Before: 224 Weight Currently: 189 Total Loss: -35 Typical meals: I hate breakfast! So I do protein drinks or eat 2 lunches without snacking at like 11:00 and then at 1 or 2:00. The typical foods I have are: low-fat soups, 1 1/2 ozs. cold chicken that is very moist, tuna with Hellman's 2 good mayo, or cheese (I like Laughing Cow swiss wedges 35 cals each). Dinner, I have either 1 1/2 oz. ground turkey with Manwhich, 1 1/2 oz. chicken made rotisserie style with Cajun injector marinades, Chili with extra beans, 1 sm. crab cake (homemade with lump meat and little breading, shrimp (about 3), I love chopped spinach with a little garlic salt, sweet potatoes (but only about 1 tblsp.), very well cooked carrots, I have also had eggplant with skim ricotta and tomato sauce (about 1 oz.) it is Rollatini style. Lots of water and added protein drinks if needed. I also love the s.f. popsicles and s.f. puddings, but pudings are filling, so I can only have one or two little spoonfuls. WHAT DOESN'T WORK FOR ME: Eggs, very sweet things like some s.f. yogurts, bland is better for me, viative calcium. WHAT WORKS FOR ME: Water with lemon added, decaf. Iced Tea w/lemon-no sweetener. Problems: Afraid to try new foods. 1 Dumping episode, got dizzy and felt sick, but didn't "upchuck" with yogurt. Praises: My wonderful husband and 3 boys, my family, friends and Doctor and his staff. Other information: I feel really good. I am staying away from sugar, pasta, rice and bread for now. I attended my first support group meeting and will definately be going back. The people there were all from my doc. and I am learning a lot. I attend Curves 3x a week and walk 2 miles, slow jog 1/2 a mile on the other days, taking the stairs, extra steps whenever. Sundays are no true set exercise days. I love this website--you guys are GREAT! Products to share: Chocolate Worldwide protein drinks from GNC 35 grams in each, low in fat and cals served over ice! True Lemon, a really neat little packet of crytallized lemon. I use 1/2 a packet in a 16 oz. bottle of water and it is like I squeezed a lemon in it! Sold in Shop Rite.

Even tried a one egg omlet with a tiny bit of grated cheese, cream of wheat with splenda, oatmeal with splenda, whole wheat toast, was plain, but I tried fat free cream cheese with a little sugar free strawberry preserves on it. Was very good. L: any cream soups, D: Soups, tried today some sloppy joe meat with a little cheese on it. Only ate about 3 small bites and stopped to make sure it settles ok. So far ok.
