YEAH! (7ers') check in**
Hello,
I also had my surgery on December 7th.
I am doing great. My depression is going away day by day. Thank God for that. I have never had it before and I don't every want it again.
I started working out at the YMCA by my house with my family or kids go to childwatch and I work out, husband sometimes comes when he gets home on time. Anyway walk at least 35 minutes every time I come. Didn't go tonight it snowed again here in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have had enough of the winter weather.
Tonight for dinner I had Kelabossa (spelling) sausage with potatoes and corn just a little bit of it. I used that reduces surger ketchup for the first time it tasted good I am just affraid that I might get sick on the regular ketchup if you know what I mean.
Drank one protein shake this morning 35 grams of protein
Breakfast I had yogert
Snack bad think chip and cheese.
lunch cheeze-it with cheese colby jack not the best but had a bad day
Wow overall I had a ****ty day with food will try harder tomorrow.
lots of crystal light.

Michelle - I get just barely all my protein in - I am looking for some protein powder to boost my food with to bring it over the 60 gram mark. My doctor goes straight into a high protein low fat low carb diet - No liquid protein after the soft food stage.
I think that is so we don't become dependent on the soft/liquid calorie foods since those tend to be what cause weight gain later (3-5 years out). I drink a small pot of decaff coffee in the morning (24 oz)...then I move into fruit 2 o (20 oz)...then some water (16 oz) and I finish up at night with sleepy time tea (8-16 oz)...so most days I get my water in...the days I don't I feel the next day....so this is critical...I have problems with water - it makes me cramp, but the fruit2O seems to stop the cramping....warm or hot drinks go down much easier...
Right now I eat chicken, turkey, fish, shellfish, low fat cheeses, eggs (but they make me real nauseous so I am laying off of them for a few months). Vegies are any that are not thick skinned or a lot of seeds (athough I do peel and de-seed my tomato). No fresh fruit or veggies until 6 months out, I did find carb smart canned fruit that is good with my cottage cheese. No red meats or heavy meats like pork, ham, beef, et****il 6th month. No breads, no pasta, no rice until after goal is reached. I did have a 1/2 teaspoon of mashed potato yesterday (business lunch) - oh man, I thought I was in seventh heaven....mmmmmmm
I try to eat tuna, salmon, or some other high omega 3 fish 2-3 times a week...I just started the omega three oil this morning (basically cod liver oil) - oh man that stuff is nasty...
I am going tonight to curves to join - I am feeling really good and really want to get myself moving. Plus everything seems to be moving around - I've got lumps in places I never had. I think all my fat is liquifying so it can be eliminated - which is cool...but I'm getting soft and lumpy (have always been muscular and hard fat)....
Take care. I am excited as I move through my cothes (downward for the first time in 10 years). The other day I put on a suit - it buttoned...still was tight. I thought it was a 20 - turns out it was an 18....Whooo Hooo....
