Gas, belching, bloating

I'm almost 4 wks out and can't seem to settle my belly down. I have gas from everything I eat! I can it rumbling in my belly. I can manage a tiny burp, but its mainly in my abdomen. It even hurts! Does anyone else have this?

Karen, I had this all weekend. Does it feel like there is gas trapped down there, and no matter how much you pass gas or belch, it does not feel like it is working? Susan

Congratulations on your surgery, my surgeon prescribed liquid Pepcid for me to take for 6 weeks to help with the gas. Plus I chew chewable GAS X which helps alot. But you really need to walk, walk and walk some more to help get rid of the gas. My tummy rumbles also while eating, which all is very normal. Not to be graphic but if you can fart that might help alleviate the gas also. I hope all this helps. Good luck. Fran

Thank you both for this advice. Yes it's like a burp gets stuck. I'm going to stop and pick up some chewable Gas-X on my way home tonight.
