I Don't Get It!
I am going through the SAME thing. Unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions but I wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I think I am maybe getting in 20 grams of protein each day when I am supposed to get about 45-60. I am also having a hard time with the water intake - maybe 32-40 oz a day. I had 2 oz of turkey deli meat yesterday and I was so full. Then for lunch I had maybe 4 tbs of mashed potatoes (which was SO good!) around 5:00 and I couldn't eat for the rest of the day due to being so full. I am not sure how they expect us to be able to get in all this food. I am sure it will come as time passes.

Count yourself as lucky!! I am eating mini-'meals' all day, TOO MUCH! In any case, are you doing the protein shakes? If you do two of those a day, you will be getting your protein, and if you drink your water, that is all that really matters, according to my doctor. So just hope that this non-eating continues!

I have had the same problem however I've finally got my calories up to about 600 a day. I eat about every other hour something very small and high in protein. I keep eating until like 9 pm at night. I try to always have 2 protein drinks a day as well. My energy is finally coming back and I'm losing more weight now as well. Good luck it's kinda weird making yourself eat but you have to keep trying. It will get better.

I had the same problem my first week out. But the nurse in my drs. office made me buy a large container of Unjury protein powder from her. It was 19.00 and worth every penny. I had been drinking the Atkins protein already mixed in the can, which meant I had to drink 11 oz to get 20 grams of protein.
With unjury you put it in 1 cup of low fat milk and mixed with a little hand blender and in just one cup I get 28 grams of protein so it is less volume and more protein and my body and the scale loves it. Vicky
