isn't it amazing?

Hi everyone. isn't it amazing that now i can only eat 1/4 of a piece of meat and a spoonful of rice at a sitting (and not even finish that) when before this surgery i could sit down and eat two pork chops and 1/2 a plate of rice. just wanted to share that. where did i put it all back then?just amazing to me... piece sue

Yes, It's amazing! My husband get's a kick out of what little I eat at a sitting and I'm full and don't finish what is on my very little plate that I use. I like to use a saucer, so it looks like I have a little something on my plate! I can only eat about 1/4 cup - 1/2 cup of food depending on what it is. It's great! Rose Monigold

Hi Sue, I am 6 1/2 weeks post op and I agree, it is amazing how little we consume after surgery and are full even before we finish. My kids think I'm crazy because I get full after eating 2oz of food. I just have to laugh when they ask me if I miss food and I can truthfully answer them with a heartfelt NO. A year ago I would never have thought I could survive on so little. But that little bit does not seem so little anymore. It really is nice to be on the losing side....god bless and good health.....Linda

I have been saying the same thing. I can only eat 1/2 cup at a setting when before I could eat a whole box of mac & cheese all by myself. This is truely an amazing gift we have been given and I am so thankful Kathi
