Any 12/21 Bandsters here?

Hi - I would love to hear about your experiences so far. I was doing really good until this past monday when right up until now I feel like something is stuck! I have tremendous gas when I eat or drink anything - I burp all day long and I generally feel like crap. On Wednesday I dry heaved a little and I'm hoping that I didn't do anything wrong. MY surgery was 12/21, but mine was RNY. I'm doing pretty well, too. But, I"ve vomited a couple of times too. When I over eat, my chest hurts so bad. Feels like I'm having a heart attack. But, it usually passes quickly. I get a "stuck" feeling too, but it always passes quickly too. Have you phoned your doc? Maybe something IS stuck! I see your weight loss is great! Congratulations! Hi Barbara: I had my Lap surgery on Dec. 14. I have had a few things get stuck on me! It feels terrible! I have found out through trial and error that when something is stuck, I take small sips of water and unfortunately it will come up. Not pleasant, but after a while it feels better. I usually get something stuck if I haven't chewed something well enough before swallowing or if I eat too fast. I had the terrible gas right after surgery - for a little over a week. I could not eat or drink during that time. I talked to a friend who had the RNY surgery a year ago and she said I had to work through the gas. Continue to eat and do allot of walking. I originally thought she was nuts, but I did what she said and it seemed to help. I hope my 2 cents helped. Good luck!!! Debra from Chicago 390/356/150
