cheating
I certainly have ... I've had some meringue cookies (yes, with sugar) and a bit of rice with my Chipotle pork and some sugar free candy ... and I ate an entire order of Wendy's chili! That was scary to add to my fitday.com page! (fat AND calories!) So far, I'm still losing and I haven't dumped. From talking with others in the support group, it sounds like lots of people do cheat, and do fine. So long as it is limited and not frequent. Of course, some people can't control it, and those are the one who wind up gaining everything back. But for me, I'm hoping to reach the point where I feel comfortable having ONE BITE of anything I want, so I don't feel deprived. Cutting out food is what got me fat in the first place, I think, since I could never do it for long!

THE ONLY THING I CHEATED ON WAS THAT I HAD SOFT FOODS SOONER THAT I WAS SUPPOSE TO... DIDN'T STAY ON PUREE AS LONG...
I WILL BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT CHEATING MYSELF... BECAUSE I KNOW ME... I WOULD BE TEMPTED TO CHEAT A LITTLE EVERYDAY IF I KNEW I COULD HAVE THAT ONE CHOCOLATE KISS... SO I HAD DETERMINDED FOR ME... THAT SUGAR MAKES ME DUMP... END OF QUESTION... I DON'T WANT TO DUMP SO I AIN'T TRYING....

Bon Bon,
you suggested everything I would have lol. I love fudgesicles. I eat those probably everyday... It's my replacement for chocolate. I also have started eating some soft foods because I really just am not into the pureed. Ive also paid for it a couple times though lol . But its not the same as if I were sick doing that. Its if I get one bite to many and I just casually walk in the bathroom take care of it and its done.. Good luck to you in your journey. I hope the weight is sheading. Mine feels like it isnt but my clothing tells me differently.. Have a wonderful day. Oh and I too have convinced myself that sugar would cause the dumping so I dont do that either.

it's funny what we're scared to try and then when we do try it we find out it didn't hurt our stomachs at all. i went to the movies yesterday and got a small nacho w/cheese and was able to eat the whole thing. i handled it very well but now the sad thing is that i know i can handle it. so i can't be getting them again. thanks for responding.. sue
