Just looking to see how my surgery sisters are doing! Let me know how you guys are doing. I think I'm a bit of a slow loser. As of three week check-up on Wednesday I was down 20 pounds and doing great. Candy

Hi Candy.... I also had surgery on the 15th and as of Wednesday I was down 20 lbs. I was starting to think this thing wasn't working like it should. I lost 20 lbs the first two weeks and then nothing this week. I have a feeling my body may be in starvation mode and holding on to everything it can. For right now I am just sticking to my doctors orders and following all the rules. I have never been able to lose weight when I diet so even a 20 lb weight loss is amazing for me. Hang in there we will get there!

I had surgery on the 17th. I have lost 17lbs. I was at a stand still for 6 days. I was getting a little depressed with only 15lbs, but today it went down 2. Yahoo!! I thought it would go faster, but I will take what I can get. Angy

I had my surgery on 12/16 and I'm down a total of 39 (15 from pre-op diet phase). I know that if I don't walk, the weight is slower to go for me so I make it a point to walk daily! I'm up to 3.5 miles now.

I had my surgery 12-15-04 and am down a total of 30 pounds since surgery. I was down 25 pounds by last Wednesday and have since lost another 5. The only exercise I am getting is 30 minutes of daily brisk walking. I hope to get back to the gym after my next check-up on the 25th. Congrats to all the 12-15 surgery sisters.

I had Roen-Y on 12-17-04. I am down 17 pounds. For the past 2 weeks the scales have not moved and I was getting so depressed! Finally this morning I'm down 4 pounds. Hallelujah! I think I am a slow loser also. Did any of your surgeons tell you that you have to count the weight you gained in the hospital towards your overall loss?? I gained 10 pounds in the hospital but I think in reality you should count the pounds lost from the day of the surgery.

That is mostly jus****er and comes off relatively quickly. I didn't have to lose any prior to surgery so I consider my beginning weight what I weighted the day before surgery. I have gone down another 7 pounds since my first post. This Saturday will be exactly a month so I am very excited about going to the gym for an official one month weigh in. Good luck! Candy
