Doing great
Hello everyone! Thank you all so much for praying for me and all of us "loosers". I have done just beautifully since my surgery 12/9/04 and am now 4 weeks post-op. I would do this again in a second. It was so easy and painless on the whole that I was really pleasently suprised. I have had only one bout of nausea (it was very scarry but I never actually vomited only dry heaved 5X) and one bout of serious constapation (NEVER let this happen to you, it hurt so bad) but on the whole I have been great. Things I have learned:
****at before you feel weak (2) sit down and rest now and again the world will still be there when you feel better (3) drink and drink and drink some more, fluids help ward off constapation.
I love you all and will continue to pray for you all. Melody
I too am doing very well. I had my surgery on 12/06. I have been very lucky and can eat fine. I had two bad bouts of vomiting. Little slice of well cooked bacon and 1 red grape. I will stay away from those product. I am very happy to have had this and I would do it again. I feel healthier already and that is what I wanted and needed.
Hurrah to us all. Loosing is wonderful

I am so thankful to have seen this post! I was beginning to wonder if everyone had bad side effects or if there were people like us in the world. I also had surgery on 12/9/04 & feel wonderful! I am down 42 # & eating all types of foods. I think I caught a stomach virus (well a "pouch" virus in my case ) & had some vomiting with solid foods. But other than that I feel great & I would recommend this surgery to anyone who is as fed up with bad health & feeling yucky all the time as I was. I am again glad to see that not everyone has problems. Thanks! Congratulations! Happy Losing!!!!!!!!!

hi. other than getting dizzy one time from not eating, i haven't had any bad side effects from this surgery either. right now for some reason the scale has stopped moving and i thought that maybe it was because i wasn't throwing up like alot of other people i read about. because i can eat anything. and i really mean anything. so far, anyway. i'm glad you're doing well. sue
