JEALOUS
Hello Susan,
Hang in there. Everyone's body is different. We all lose at different rates. Just think though, you have lost almost 1 lb per day. Also, it takes a while for your body to get used to what has happened to it. I lost 60 pounds in the first month and it scared me to death. I was scared that I was losing too fast, can you imagine? But, the doctor's told me that often men are much different than woman and tend to lose quicker. Your comment about drinking as much as you can, way to go! That, I have found is the key to all success. Water is our best alli. Don't give up. Just think, if you average 1 lb a day, it won't be too many months before you are at your goal. I have been heavy all my life. What's a few months? Right? Keep the faith and God Bless!! Tom
boo hoo!!!! i am way too jealouos of you. 60 pounds!! that's great. i would've been in heaven. well my scale is not moving at all and it's kinda depressing. it's been over a week and it says the same thing. i stopped getting on it everyday and now just every other day. but the same thing. what's going on? well congrats on yours. how long has it been since your surg? oh, and thanks for responding. sue
Hi again Sue,
I had my surgery on December 6th. Don't get discouraged. I started at 371 so I had much further to go. I also haven't been feeling very well either. This is a lifetime journey. It will happen for you. I think you know that too. I understand how you are feeling. My weight loss will plateau at some point and the doctors said not to panic when it does. Just keep doing what you are doing. Keep drinking tha****er!!! Wow, that has saved me! We are all in this together! Take care. Hey, I just had an idea! Why don't you have 7 kids with an 8th on the way so you can chase them around all day and lose your mind like I am! I bet the pounds will drop, drop, drop!! Hahahaha! Just kidding. Tom
