full-liquid stage ideas?
I have to be on full-liquids for five weeks, and I start tomorrow. So I am taking any and all suggestions on what I can have.
This is my list so far...
- Cream soups
- Sugar-free pudding and tapioca made with skim milk
- Milk (skim or 1%)
- Sugar-free Instant Breakfast
- Custard, sugar free made with skim milk
- Yogurt (Sugar free) plain without fruit or nuts
- Cream of wheat or rice, farina, grits
- Malt-o-Meal
- Breakfast smoothie with low-fat yogurt, some fruit juice, etc. (just make it thin enough to go through a straw)
- SF hot chocolate
- Other unsweetened juices or beverages
Any other suggestions on what you did or are doing? I'd appreciate them!
How about Atkins shakes. The are 11 ounces and have a huge (20g) amount of protien!
(check on that cream of wheat... it might not be a full fluid, my doc calls that a pureed or soft food) and how about Sugar free Popsycles or fruit pops, make sure no fruit pieces in it. I was recommended dole brand)
