I have lost 21 pounds. The only thing that I can really drink right now it filter water. My pills in the morning is just a little hard to take. So I am taking them one at a time, after eating something. We have to learn how to do things all over again. Tomorrow will be my fast day back at work. And I wonder what that is going to bring. Right now, life is one day at a time. I will not try any new foods of drinks, unless I am at home. But Thank you Lord for being there for me. If it was not for you I will not be here today. I am loving my new life. This year I will lose that weight that I always say I am going to lose.

Brenda- I had surgery 12-6-04 and returned to work full-time 12-20. I worked the whole week (nursing supervisor) but by Friday, I came home and crashed. I took a two hour nap, which I very rarely ever do. Last week I did much better. I found it challenging, trying to consume all my liquids and protein that we are suppose to intake because with my job I am being called upon it seems like continuously. I would make my breakfast, (cream of wheat) sit at my desk , then have to run off somewhere. By the time I came back, I would end up throwing it in the garbage(cold and stiff) yuck!! I now take my protein drinks and sip on them throughout the day. I am so excited about losing weight, and feeling healthy again, I just cannot wait for it to happen, but we must be patient! Good luck tomorrow. Jackie

Dear Brenda, I go back to work a week from this Monday and I must say I am very nervous. I am still getting used to all of this not to mention the fatigue. I am down 33 lbs. since surgery date of 12/17/04. Plus I am dealing with the whole "head hunger" issue. I do billing for the hospital system here in Mpls. so I will be sitting on my behind all day. That's not what makes me nervous it is the emotional stress after the first day. I do understand how you feel and even though you will get this answer late, I will pray for your stamina. They say God knows what your prayers are before you pray them. Good luck and update me please with any tips that I can glean from you ok? congrats on your weight loss--You go girl!
