Surgery on 12/22...what are you eating now????
Hi Jamie ... I have to be on full liquids for 4 weeks as well. For me that includes 2 protein drinks (powder, not pre-prepared for higher potency). Are you doing protein? you can have a lot of fun with sugar free syrups like those used in lattes.
I have been using regular soup (hate bouillon) and straining out the "good stuff" .. better flavor. Sugar free popsicles, crystal light, diet V-8 splash. I don't like Jello, but that is also on the list.
Take care!

You can also add Miso soup, Wonton soup (minus the wontons), hot and sour soup to the list. I can't stand the broth and the above soups have been life savers.
If you're willing to strain...chicken noodle soup, minestone soup and other that are in a 'clear' base are also an option.
I'm not into jello either, something about the sweetness just doesn't work for me, but the popsicles sure do! Just make sure they're sugar free.
Good luck!

My full liquid diet allows me to have Farina mixed thin. Take a day off from having the chocolate/vanilla protein shakes and make one with fruit juice and ice. Are you allowed any of the citrus combo juices? Use your protein powder (either vanilla or unflavored), about 6 ounces of water and a handful of ice and it makes a great smoothie! Add some unflavored protein powder to creamed soups as well. My instructions say anything that will fit through a straw was okay but to not drink it through the straw. I was thinking of a blend of chicken, guacomole and salsa....if it's thin. What do you think? LOL
Let me know if you try it! I'm still only one week out so was going to wait a week til I tried that one!
