Hi all , My surgery was on Dec. 7th and i felt very hungry that day and have ever since. Now eating is another thing. Follow the diet your team gave you no matter how you feel. look we walked in the woods along time getting to the Obesity stage it will take awhile for us to find our way out of the woods....keep looking up and keep talking about it. You really can not eat to much or you'll feel it. Hang in there and thanks for sharing and giving me the courage too!! Susan

Have you talked to your surgeon about upping your consumption? I take in 3-4 ounces at a setting, wait my hour after meals to drink and then sip sip sip until the next meal. I'm feeling full and losing 1-2lbs a day. Are you still on liquids? Full or Clear? Jen

Hi All, I had my LAP RNY on Dec 9th and I have to agree with Jennifer about the consumption amounts. My doctor told me to have anywhere between 5-6 meals a day. Actual food is 2oz of Protein and 1oz Fruit or Veggie. I don't feel hungry when I follow this regimen. I drink 4oz of Designer Whey Protein Shake for breakfast (sip within 30 min) about 1 hour later Water, 2 hours after that my meal consisting of what I wrote above. I repeat it all again until I have had all my meals. I am not loosing as much as Jennifer but my doctor assures me it'ss not the quantity of food because this is the regimen he gives all his patients. Get on a schedule it helps the hunger. Good Luck, Bernadette

I had my surgery 9 days ago, but I have a couple of tid bits I hope are useful. I didn't feel "full" at first until I realized that before surgery my full point was the stuffed overfull point. Now after I eat, I feel satisfied, but not stuffed. I had to make myself realize the difference. Also you say you are constantly drinking... do you drink with your meals or any time before thirty minutes after, because this could be washing the food out of your pouch and allowing you to eat more. Hope it helps Brooke
