I'm home, all went well!

My only complaint today is a sinus headache. Wonder if the oxygen dried out my sinuses. Taking liquid tylenol for that, but my lap places don't hurt. The drain is just a nuisance, but necessary. I go back Tuesday to get rid of the drain. BUt all in all, I feel great except for the headache, a little tired, but that is expected. Will just get my rest for now. then go walking when headache goes away. Thanks for all the encouragement from this message board, and the before/after photos are terrific encouragement. Will try to juggle my liquids, vitamins, protein, now until I get used to it. Later, Barbara

I am soo glad you are home Barbara. I can't believe you still have the drain in. They took mine out right before I came home from the hospital last Friday. If you are able to eat pureed you might want to check out the recipe that I put on this page. I hope your headache went away. Best of luck and God Bless.. Michelle

Barbara, Glad to hear all went well for you! Now that you're home you can get some "real" rest. My surgery is tomorrow, Thurs. Dec 30th at 10:30 a.m. I am so ready for this... I'm excited. Get alot of rest and walk, walk, walk! Happy New Year to you! Sincerely, Renee

Hi Barbara, I am home as well. Surgery was 12-27 got out 12-29 and stayed with my folks the first night home. Now I am home home and doing o****il now I have pretty much stayed on water and chicken broth. Going to venture to protein shakes. Gas pains are the worst for me
