a question -- please answer :-S
When I went for my first consultation, the surgeon talked to a whole group about how the procedure has changed down through the years, and how they have learned and modified the procedure to be more successful. The ring was not successful in all cases as it would move. I believe they have it down to a science now and mine only took 45 minutes to perform. If you follow all the recommended portion sizes, exercise and don't anticipate going back to your old way of eating you will do fine. I was hardly sore following surgery. I've complained more of a sinus headache than anything. It is your decision. I just knew this was the answer for me in my cir****tances. Barbara Griffin
I think the people who struggle with their decision to have surgery might have a harder time. I have seen it at my support meetings. I think if you use the tool as it is intended you will be fine. It is hard at the beginning but does get easier. When I say hard I mean fighting off the old bad habits. I have made the choice to not even try candy or high fat foods. My body is past all the withdrawls and I don't want to go through that again. I was afraid of the pain and I had open and I am doing better than I thought I would. Trust in your gut!!
