I'm cold
Hi Mary,
I have no idea if it is related either... but same as you, I was always hot, and since surgery 2 weeks ago, I can't warm up sufficiently unless I'm bundled up with thick pajamas and thermal blankets. I've talked to a few people in my support group here that are post op, and some of them have experienced the same thing, but noone seems to know the cause. Let us know if you find anything out . peace and all good things this holiday season.
Sarah
I had my surgery on December 6th, and was freezing cold also. I asked the surgeon at my followup about this...he said our bodies are now in a state of catabolism...they are eating themselves, and we will be cold for a while, but that will go away with time, and increased calorie consumption. I hope this (and a big warm blanket) helps!
