6 days pre-op and PETRIFIED

Hi Tracy. I could not help but reply to your posting. I had surgery on 12/14/04. Yes I am 14 days out. On the morning of surgery, I found myself almost in a run to try to get to the hospital sooner. I was so ready. I never had any second thoughts about it at all. My surgeon was fantastic. Dr. Wongsa in Houston. Just think, I was a self pay because Blue Cross turned me down. See how determined I was. I had the lp RYN. It was a breeze. I even enjoyed the crushed ice all day on the day of surgery. I have found not one thing to complain about. I was on 9 different med's on 12/13/04 at a cost of about $275.00 a month. Now I take none.....hang in there. You are doing the right thing. You are in far more danger now, with the obesity than you are having surgery. I feel better now than I have felt in years. Take care, and you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
