Home from hospital

Well all, I made it home. Surgery was uneventful. However, the overnight was nightmare. I had a very bad reaction to the Lortab, wretching from 10 pm-6 am. The nursing staff was not nearly as prompt, but I guess they really couldn't do anything except comfort me. The upper GI showed no problems/slippage of the band. YIPPEE! Now, I just ache all over. Only my port site is painful, all other spots are itchy (healing) Did sleep for 8 hours after getting home. So am up in the wee hours. Will probably go back to bed soon. I'm already down another pound.

Congratulations on the successful procedure. Nausea and vomiting after any surgery really sucks, I'll bet you're glad that's over! I hope you are feeling well enough to have a bit of fun on Christmas! -Linda
