Were you told to go off caffiene? how long off work?
Barbara,
I wasn't told to go off caffeine before the surgery, but I did have to do clear liquids two days before surgery, so in essence I had no caffeine. Some people do get withdrawal headaches. Since you have a week, you might want to start weaning yourself off caffeine. I have to double check with my nutritionist, but I think I was told no caffeine for three weeks after surgery.
My surgery date was 12/9 and the doctor gave my employer a letter stating that I could return to work on 1/10. I also have a sedentary job so I am hoping I can get released to work sooner when I have my follow-up visit on 12/30.
