BON-BON KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. I LOST ONLY 18 LBS AS OF THURSDAY. I AM DOING A LITTLE BETTER TODAY. YESTERDAY, MY RIGHT SIDE WAS KILLING ME AND IT IS STILL HURTING A LITTLE. I AM TRYING TO GET MORE WATER IN. AND FOR YOUR LEG CRAMPS IT MIGHT BE LOW POTASSIUM(MIS-SPELLED), TRY EATING BANANAS(PUREED OF COURSE). I EAT THE BABY FOOD 2ND STAGES BANANAS. MY ENERGY LEVEL IS LOW. IT IS HARD TO GET UP AND EXERCISE, BUT I WILL START TODAY. EVERYTHING ELSE IS GREAT! MERRY CHRISTMAS 6 ER'S.

2 weeks out, total weight loss since starting the liquid diet: 23lbs. I'm kind of depressed because the scale seems to have stalled at 269 for the last 5 days or so. I'm on to soft foods per my surgeon. Had one scrambelled egg, some mandarin oranges and 1/2 piece of toast, and it was HEAVEN. Tonight DH is making salmon. I hope I can kick up the weight loss a bit. Anywho, trying to get the exercise in, drinking as much fluid as possible, and trying to eat protein forward (which is much easier now that I am on real foods). As far as the cramps, it could be potassium related, could be dehydrated? I'd call the doc to be sure. Happy Holidays!!! Hugs, Megan 292/269/150 Lap RNY 12/6/04

I've lost 23... getting all of my protein in but not sure about the water. I am drinking it though. Not exercising enough but it's too icy to walk outside and I hate walking in the mall because it's soo hot. Not sure what else to do.

Hey all, Glad to hear everyone is doing well!! It will only get better from here on out! Well, i have lost 21.5 and i am very pleased with that! I drink 4oz of SF CIB eight times a day(every other hour) with 4-8oz of crystal light in between. A little tired of the liquids! I only have a week to go to start on soft foods, i can't wait! Craving a little cottage cheese, or scrambled egg or something. I am on the treadmill at least 3 times a week. Up to a mile and a quarter so far, but i push a little more each time! Happy Holiday to all! See you next week (((HUGS))) Colleen 302.5/281/150

CONGRATS TO ALL OF YOU!!! Looks like all of you are doing really well. I am doing well too. Have good energy levels, am walking on the treadmill daily for 30 minutes. Been pretty good about getting my protein in. Liquids are another story...I drink at least 56oz everyday but am working on upping it more and more everyday. As for my weight loss, Ive lost 14 pounds as of yesterday. I am trying not to feel discouraged because all of you have lost at least 20 pounds. I know everyone is different but *sigh* I wish I were past 20 pounds lost too. Sometimes it doesnt even feel like Ive gone thru anything. I am eating soft foods and eat grilled chicken too. I had some salmon today. So long as I dont get the dumping syndrome I wont complain.

I'm late checking in this week. Merry Christmas Eve. I'm doing fine in the healing department. Having a time in the protein, liquids & exercise departments. I'm still getting weak in the middle of the day and need a short nap. I haven't lost much weight either. I go to the doc on the 28th and hope he has ideas to bring me out of my slump. Congrats to those of you who are doing so well!!!!~~~Shirlene W

I have only lost 15 lbs, unless you guys are including the weight loss of water weight you gained during surgery and hospital stay. ( I gained 10 lbs in water weight and I am not including that in my total) I lost initially the water weight plus 7 lbs in the first week then seems to stay the same for ever, I just dropped another few lbs but boy...guess I'll be a slow loser. disappointing yet, thankful that at least the scale is not going up and it IS going down no matter how slowly. Blessings, Katie
