had surgery on Dec. 6th
hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that i am feeling awhole lot better. i am just having trouble with one of my incisions, it feels like it is attached to a muscle and that is the only one that has given me the slow down. i am finally sleeping in my own bed. it may not sound like a big deal but believe me it is when i have been sleeping in my recliner for over a week. i am hating the chair. lol i have had a few bites of food and i made sure that it was chewed well and it stayed down well but i am going to stay with the slimfast for awhile, until my dr. says its ok to eat. food dosen't taste the same so i am not going to miss too much for now. i have my treadmill ready and some weights for my arms. i also want to thank everyone who emailed me, it really helped out alot, i did have a couple of bad days after surgery, but i think it was only because i couldn't do stuff for myself and that frustrated me. my husband and son have been a god send for helping me out, so to all that are going to have surgery soon , good luck and my prayers are for you all. just make sure that you have some one to take care of you for the first week or two. you will need it. and make sure that you rest, you'll need it. hope to write soon again. wendy churchill .

Hi Wendy,
I had surgery on Dec.13th and i had a hard time after. I'm having some soreness right around my port area on my left side. I called the doctor and the nurse told me that the port is connected to a muscle and that it sometimes takes awhile to heal. I've just started to exercise and i find that i actually enjoy walking. I hope that everything works out great for you and you become the loser that i know that you can be.
