Surgery 12/6/04 - Home 12/8/04

My surgery is over and I am so very thankful! The day of surgery was no party but every day since has been better and better. I thought I would just die of thirst!!! Today I walked around the block and felt so very proud of myself for having done that with stomach staples and a drain. All that disappears on Monday when I go back to the doctor for my first post-op appointment. I keep wanting to get on the scales every day but have been resisting that so far. Nancy Alford-Gill

GLAD YOU MADE IT TO THE LOOSING SIDE... WOW WALKIN AROUND THE BLOCK THAT IS GOOD... IS THAT 10 MIN 20 HOW LONG? MY DR SAYS FIRST WEEK EVERY MORN EVERY EVE 10 MIN WALK... THEN SECOND WEEK I THINK IT IS 15 BOTH AND BY THIRD WEEK IT IS 20 MIN 3 TIMES A DAY.. ISNT IT GOOD TO JUST DRINK WATER!!
