FINALLY I HAVE A DATE...DEC. 30 :) ANYONE ELSE??

I FINALLY HAVE A DATE SET FOR DEC. 30TH, SEEMED LIKE IT TOOK FOR EVER TO GET EVERYTHING DONE, AND JUST ONE DAY FOR MY INSURANCE TO APPROVE IT. HAVE TO START MY LIQUID DIET ON THE 17TH, I GUESS TO GET MY BODY USED TO WHAT IT WILL BE TAKING IN. ANYONE OUT THERE HAVING SURGERY ON THE 30THE, WRITE BACK.

Hi Robin, My date is also December 30th. Just in the nick of time! I really wanted to do it before the New Year for insurance purposes, and also my husband will be home to take care of me. I feel so blessed that it all worked out. I really was starting to doubt it would happen this year but my surgeon knew how important it was to me, and lo and behold, he got me in! YIPEE!!! I go in for my pre-op workup on the 21st, but I wasn't told to do a liquid diet before then. I have started my walking though, which was recommended by my doc. Good luck to you!
