5 Days Post OP...Doing good...Low Energy

I am back! My Experience was so so. The ICU Experience sucked and it will bother me for quite sometime. In involved hospital going through a remodeling stage, ICU staff being mad they had to provide care to WLS Patients, the Doctor insisting I stay in ICU because of a lack of mid level beds. Plus on top of that several staff confiding in me about all the problems going on at the hospital. (Penrose St Francis, Colorado Springs) Anyway I screamed murder and was released to a regular floor. I was on the new floor and with one hour I had took a shower and did some walking and went home the next day. In ICU for 2 1/2 days they could of careless. I went from 630am until 1:30pm not seeing a soul. They pulled the door shut and that was it. I am not exaggerating. But now I am home doing good and so far so good on the food. I have had no problems at all. Just really tired. When will the energy return? When will I start feeling like my self again? I wanted to thank everyone *****sponded with there prayers and best wishes. OMG talk about a reality check when you do this. I just keep telling my self I just need to get through the first 3 or 4 weeks and it will be better.

I AM SORRY YOU HAD SUCH A NIGHTMARE IN ICU... I ALSO WAS IN ICU... BUT I KNEW I WOULD GO THERE FIRST BECAUSE OF HEART PROBLEM.... AND IT WAS NOT A BAD THING... I WAS HOME ON 4TH DAY...
