Surgery Postponed

Hey Everybody, I was scheduled for surgery on Monday, Decenber 13th and it has been postponed until January 05. My spirits are kind of down but I believe everything happens for a reason. Georgeann, I am so sorry this happened to you! Please know that I can truly relate...as my surgery has been postponed TWICE thus far, almost at the last minute each time. I was first due to have it on the 16th of November, then due to a scheduling error on the part of the doctor's office, it had to be rescheduled until December 7th. Then last Friday when I went to my pre-op, I was told I needed a stress test before I could have the surgery, and once again it was postponed. I was devastated! The stress test was held this week and the results were normal, so now it is on again for next Tuesday, the 14th. I totally agree with you that everything happens for a reason. Bless your heart, I know exactly how you are feeling right now. This will give you time to enjoy the holidays, and make further preparations for your surgery date. Dear Georgeann, So sorry to hear this. I thought that my date was going to be postponed, also and my daughter told me the upside would be that I'd be able to eat red meat for a few weeks longer! Actually, my date was moved up from the 16th to the 14th. You never know! I wish you well, when the day comes. Mary
