Need a second chance.

Hi, I had gastric bypass surgery done in February of 1993. I have gained 60 of the 100 pounds I lost back. I am wondering if the surgery can be done again and if anyone has had experience with this. I know I over ate and quit exercising and I know what I did wrong and would like a second chance.

I have a friend that just had a re do. She has done well until she developed an infection. she has not been back at work for the past 11 weeks from this. Be careful, and trust in Him!!

I have also heard of a few people who had the lap band put on their pouch after having RNY and stretching it out. The lap band is adjustable so you can continue to loose weight as long as you need to. Check out the lap band message board - you can go back and read lots of posts and get great info on the band. Hello, I to had the band in 2000 and have gained 60 of the 95 i lost. I am waiting on my insurnace to accept a revision, but I have since changed insurance companies and the one now has a clause that it doesn't cover this surgery, so i am in my 3 rd appeal and hope i finally get thru to them I to did not do what I was suppose to , and have learned a hard lesson.
