Dec 17 is my date :-(

Seems like I just started the process and now Pacificare approved me in 2 days and on the first try. I feel confident with My new surgeon Dr. Katsas in Tulsa. feeling a little nervous even though I am a surgery nurse. I have never been under the knife...

I'm on the 17th too! I will make a deal with you... trade you a prayer on the pre-op table while we are being wheeled into OR!? Surgery is scheduled at 7am (eastern time).... I have to be there at 5:30, bleh Hope the Dr. is a morning person, at least I get to sleep there! BTW, Buck.... been under the knife a few times before (unfortunately)... after the IV starts, it's all good, don't worry!

My date is 12/17 too and I'm a nervous wreck, but I guess we wouldn't be normal if we weren't. We just need to focus on the postive and I'll say a prayer for you as we are going into the Operating Room! See you on the Loser's Bench!

Buc I'll be swapping prayers with you as my surgery is on the 17th as well! I am having Open RNY at 11:30 AM. I wi**** was earlier because I have to get up and then wait for a few hours. I also work in the health care field and know what can happen so I have lost weight just thinking about the surgery. I just know my surgeon is awesome and all will be well... for all of us 17er's. WOW talk about a whirl wind. I have to do a sleep study tonight and then will do pre op tomorrow. The surgery day has changed to the 20th!! I fell a little better about that. I have som Christmas shoping to do and this will help. My wife and I are not on the greatest terms right now, we are both anxious for this to be over with. I will find out friday A.M. what time I am expected there monday!!!
