did anyone else have trouble eating enough after surgery?

I'm six days post-op and on average only eat about 5 sf popcicles, 4 tbsp of chicken broth and one cup of water or sf kool aid...is this normal? Should I be consuming more? Jessica

I am able to eat more.. Mr Dr allowed me to progress from what he calls stage one to stage two foods... I eat puree soups, cream of wheat, jell-o, s/f pudding.... hope to move to eggs and c-cheese soon. Just list to your pouch each of us is different... hope you are feeling well. Ann

I had my Lap-Band sugery on 12/1. I'm not eating much either. Mostly because of the gas pains. I'm still trying to figure out just the right amount that my pouch can handle and I'm a little nervous to overdo it. So in the mean time I'm eating very little too. I start counting proteins tomorrow though so I'll have to pick it up a bit. Pam in CT
